@ Athlon 1400 and memory for it

Hello There:



I have an Athlon xp 1400 cpu(See info below) that was been used with sd-ram
(pc133), and looking for motherboads for it, I noticed the ones that support
this cpu they use DDR memory, my question is: I have 512mb of pc2100
memory, would it work for this processor?

Is there any website where I could read more about memory in relation to
this specif processor?

DDR and SDR memories have different number of pins (180 DDR , 168 SDR), so
you have to look into your MB manual, if it supports DDR.
I guess it doesnt...

If the motherboard supports the processor and has ddr slots then it should
work with ddr ram.
