thanx for the reply, well as it turned out i downloaded a driver doctor and scanned my rig, i found out a few of the drivers were out of date, downloaded a few new ones and what do you know, i got it. I had done this a few weeks ago but it didnt work. well now it has. i did a line out recording but quality was lost.
cheers for the quick reply.
i'm sure this site will help me in the future, thanks to all who are on and in. if any one is using ableton for recording or writing music please, lets talk, there is a lot i would like to chat with someone about. i'm fumbling my way through it, but can always do with another brain to pick.
thanks again, jesster.
