ASUS's Lack of Driver support for Vista! Need WI-FI drivers

Hi,
I've got an ASUS A8V-E Deluxe with on-board WI-FI and have found that ASUS
do not supply any drivers for it, and can only recommend the XP x64
professional drivers, which do not work correctly unfortunately. I also have
an Airlink 108g card which is not supported or recognised by Vista either.

Does anyone have any ideas or solutions to helping me get WI-FI drivers for
my on-board WI-FI, or is there any way to modify the XP x64 drivers?

Furthermore, does anyone know when ASUS plans to release Vista specific
drivers? I would have thought that a company as large as ASUS would be on the
ball with something like this.

Cheers

I have much the same problem, with a Netgear wireless adapter.... support for
network cards is a real issue, as with any new OS.... I'd be happy to find
any wireless card I could use with Beta 2. My card doesn't even have XP-64
support as far as I know.

Quite possibly not until the RC's come out. Pointless issuing drivers
which may require a full rewrite in later versions.

just tried all my available wireless adaptors:

1, linksys wireless-g usb adaptor
2, level one wireless LAN_11g usb adaptor
3, asus wireless LAN PCI adaptor WL-138G

unfortunately, no one work under vista beta 2...

I am trying Vista RC1 (Build 5600) on an Asus A8V Deluxe, using the Yukon
Network card onboard.
I have network connection but not every site works.
For example, I can brouwse www.microsoft.com, but I cannot register Vista,
and I cannot go on www.google.com, but I can go on www.yahoo.com.

I am wondering if it one of the network card setting which should be changed
or what.

I am connected to the internet using a Blitzz router connected to a Cable
modem...
