Just finished building the T2P model, very nice. Few problems especially
with fan noise.

a few questions if i may :-

1) the bay panels - they press against your own drive doors to open cdrw
for example ?

2) the cpu set-up - comes with a thermaltake fan i think - can you use your
own

3) any details on the cooling and noise levels esp. - hear it may "hunt" as
in you can hear
it getting louder and slower depending on heat level

4) is there any asus software provided to show cpu temp etc. ?

thanks for your help

Yes, the eject button is directly in line with CD drive, only thing is the
draw has to be pushed to get it back in, button bot accessable.

I use the one which came with the P4 Prescott Processor, Thermaltake one is
very noisy.

I switched the Auto fan control off in the Bios, noise was annoying going up
and down all the time, used a Zalman fan speed controller and set rear fan
to 2000 rpm.

Comes with Asus Probe software to monitor temp, fans and voltage.
thanks for your help

It is a very nice bit of kit, can also be used as a radio/CD player without
booting to the operating system and wouldn't look a-miss in a living room.

Just finished a T2 build with a 2.4 GHz Celeron, 512 MB RAM, combo
DVD-CDRW, and an 80 gig HD. System went together very smoothly. After
trying the Thermaltake cooler, I took it out and used the stock Intel
cooler which seems much quieter. The fans are on auto and there doesn't
seem to be too much up and down cycling. So far so good.
