Hello,
while flashing my BIOS of my P4C800Deluxe mobo, the action frooze at 45%,
making my board a dead one !!! (Yes I was foolish enough to do it using the
(even coorect version of) Asusupdate utility). My supplier was willing to
replace my mobo when he should receive a new board from ASUS. So I left it
and they told me it would take 7 to 10 days to replace it. Since I live in
Belgium, they send it to ASUS suppport NL. Today (25/03/2004), I contacted
my supplier, but still no replacement (should be here starting next week
!!!) My questions are now :
- is it possible in other countries to order a replacement BIOS ?
- how long does it take to receive it ?
- how much do they charge you for such a replacement chip ?
Thx for any answer,
Tuur (from Belgium, a desert in the PC-world)
