Anyone have a problem getting there Leadtek card working with this board. Am
still troubleshooting, but it appears to be a conflict between the USB and
the card. When I connect and use a scanner (or USB mouse) the machine locks
up hard. The sound continues to play but them machine is completly
unresponsive.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Am using the Leadtek 2000 XP deluxe tuner with my P4P800 deluxe
without any problems. I have a cordless Logitech keyboard and cordless
Logitech trackball plugged into USB ports (through a USB hub, 2
receivers as I bought these separate), MS USB joystick and also have
an HP USB scanner that I plug into another hub as well as my digital
camera and they all work fine even when "hot-swapping" the items. I
started with the original drivers for the TV card and just upgraded
the drivers and software to latest version from the Leadtek site.
Before this, I tried an ATI PCI tv card and it was nothing but
grief....the drivers installed fine, but the program I downloaded from
ATI would lock constantly.

My system config:
P4P800 MB bios 1014
Intel 3.0C P4 CPU
1 gig Corsair DDR400 ram (2x 512 meg) PAT enabled
2 x 120 gig WD HD setup as RAID 0
2 x 120 gig hard drive on primary IDE
GCE 8481 CDR and GMA 4020 DVDR on sec IDE
ASUS V9560 TD video card
Leadtek 2000 XP tv card
PCtel 56K PCI modem
SB Audigy II Audio card
USB keybrd and mouse
Win XP SP1 with all updates direct X 9.0b
DSL internet connection thru Dlink wireless router

Hope this helps u out a bit.

Thanks for the followup ziggy...
I think I may have fixed the problem. I uninstalled the card and
software. Then uninstalled all thing USB. I reinstalled the Leadtek in a
different PCI slot (I remember someone saying that each PCI slot uses
different system resources). After the leadtek was back in I started
hot-swapping my USB devices back in and all is happy.
Again, thanks.

PS...sounds like you got one heck of a system!!!

The other thing to do is under bios settings, say yes to pnp operating
system. XP will then setup the IRQ's for the cards. It seems to work
for me. All in all, I have found this to be an excellent motherboard,
very compatible with most hardware. Thanks for the compliment on my
system....forgot to mention, has an Enermax 425watt power supply and
its all in a Lian Li aluminum case. I think with todays systems, get
the best power supply you can...it makes the world of difference. I
learned that from my earlier AMD systems and it seems to apply to the
newer P4's as well.
