Hi,

I have tried to install a WL-138G Wireless card in a P5A board.

The problem is that the card is not detected by the bios (or Windows XP).

I have tried different PCI slots but it makes no difference.

I have also tried to install a TRENDnet TEW-423PI wireless card. At the
first boot after this card is installed the board hangs after POST. At the
next boot the board does not start up at all.

The board is using the latest bios version 1011.005

Does anyone have any ideas?

Best regards,
Jes Holm

These cards obviously require a PCI 2.2 implementation and do not work
on older PCI 2.1 compliant boards. Good luck finding one that does.
