Hi there, this may be a dumb question but trying to get my system working.
Have the above MB with 1.5GB RAM, a Seagate 120GB SATA HDD, couple of CD
Rom's on Secondary Controller.
Want to know if the above drive can work by itself, or is it strictly RAID
with IDE drive off Primary Controller mandatory?
Tried installing W2K with drivers first and cannot get it done...the files
from ASUS get an error as I select after F6 and pressing S.
Get the screen to load but get error after that.
Did diagnosis of Seagate drive and it is in fine working order.
I DL both versions of the driver from ASUS to no avail...can anyone shed
some light?

thnks
Rob

The drive can work as standalone with both IDE on.

Have you copy the driver to a diskette?
