I have an Antec SX1040BII case and an Asus P4C800 Deluxe motherboard.
There is a pin mismatch between the thermal sensor wire coming out of the
power supply and the thermal sensor pin on the mobo. Does anyone have a
solution?

Thanks

Just be sure that the wire coming from the PSU is a THERMAL sensor and not a
FAN SPEED sensor.

my antec power supply doesn't have a thermal sensor, just a fan.

anybody know where I can get a thermal sensor that I could connect to the
P4C800-EDLX?

thanks for the pointer. do you have one of these? not much detail there.
is it a 2 pin connector? (can't really tell from the picture)

the MB connector for this is thermal sensor is as far away from the power
supply as you can get. i hope the wire is long enough. poor placement by
Asus.
