asus p2b-F and winxp sp2

I know about the weird chemical mix these two produce when they work
together as I run these two on my server. That is, the box doesn't
shut down ATX-style, but you get to the "It is ok to shutdown, etc."
screen and you have to do so manually. I only restart my server a
couple of times a month at most anyway. Anyway, I've got sp2 installed
and I went to shut down today and it went to reboot instead. Is this a
new SP2 reaction? Anyone have a similar experience? or a different
one?

My P2B-F is behaving with SP2 like it always did. Which is: okay. Heard
nothing about these problems you mention. It just works. You did install it
as an ACPI board right? Mine is running BIOS 1013A.

No, I never bothered. I found out about a fix well after everything
was running and I haven't bothered to do a re-install.
