Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my Asus MyPal 620 and Vista Business N. I tried to
install the PDA, but Vista cancels the installation. It does install the
"Asus USB Sync" device, but the PDA itself shows up as "unknown device". If I
try to install the drivers for "Windows Mobile Device" I get the error "The
class installer has denied...".
Any ideas? Asus sadly doesnt provide any drivers (afaik).

any help is appreciated!

cheers,
Stefan

Active sync is out for Vista you have to use Windows Mobile software take a
look in Mobile devices for the latest beta.

Ko.

Is the Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center in Vista? Or
do you need to download it and install it? According to
Microsoft the Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center is
required in Vista to sync your PDA.

Stefan...

1. Install WMDC Beta...
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx

2. Delete any existing synch profiles from your mobile device...

3. If you are using Live Onecare Firewall make sure that ActiveSynch is
enabled on the Ports and protocols tab.

3. Good luck!!
