It seems the new boards only work if the memory is installed and good
and same with the video card.

Why do companies like these think they can alter the rules.

If I put a cpu into a mb and turn it on I want beeps.

How are you going to know you have faulty memory?

You may need to go into bios and select slow boot up that what I had
to do to get beeps

Plug in a pair of headphones where it can say

"YOUR MEMORY IS BAD THANKS FOR READING THE ****ING INSTRUCTIONS AND KNOWING
THERE IS A VOCAL ERROR MSG"

It says something like that, not 100% sure tho..

Was there any call for that amount of agression?

I got beep codes AND a vocal msg when my memory was bad!

1 long and 2 short in fact

Which threw me at first because NORMALLY that means bad vga but when I
plugged in a speaker the nice lady told me "memory check fail"

This is on a p4p800e deluxe which i would consider fairly new!
