Hello,

An Apple iPod is connected by a docker. Booting holds on the iPod. A short
ASCII-like code is displayed on screen. And booting fails.
The pragmatic solution is to remove the iPod from its docking station and
boot again. But this is not satisfying. What (probable) BIOS settings are
relevant and what should be done.
The docking station is connected to USB.

Thanks
Lane

Your Ipod contains a disk drive, and the system is probably trying
to boot from it. Perhaps changing the boot order in the BIOS will
help, perhaps not. With all the problems there have been in BIOS in
the past year with boot order, it is hard to give advice that will
guarantee the Ipod won't be picked up. It is unlikely the Ipod
has a MBR on it...

Paul
