ASUS German site no longer available?

When I try to connect to ftp.asuscom.de I get a connection refused.
Has ASUS turned off public access, changed site name, or changed
something else that is limiting access to the site?

I would say that their FTP server is broken. I have also been trying for the
last couple of days and same deal.

I see a web site at www.asus.de (replacing www.asuscom.de)
I see a web site at rma.asus.de (contains the old FAQs)

This could be part of the "glossy makeover" that has been
happening to the other Asus websites. They are being given
a uniform interface.

Perhaps a victim of this change, will be the early release
of beta BIOS that used to happen via ftp.asuscom.de .
