Hi
does anybody know the latest Revision-Number of the
mentioned Asus A8V-Motherboard? Is it 2.0? And are there any
differences to Rev-Nr. 1.2?

Revision 2.0 repairs the missing AGP lock. The board has
been shipping for a week or so. Check the private forums to see
how well the A8V is working:

And what exactly is the missing AGP lock? That pin to secure the AGP card,
or what? What is that thing exactly?

It means when you raise the FSB the PCI/AGP is locked at 33/66

Yes, sorry for the dumb question. Found it at google. So the earlier boards
under rev 2.0 will not fix the PCI/AGP and so you won´t be able to overclock
it, will you?

It depends on how the parts on the PCI/AGP busses handle the overclock.
Chances are you wouldn't be able to overclock to a high as rate as with a
locked clock.
