I recently bought a new case and put everything in the old one into the new
one but after I did this the HDDs would not be recognised by the BIOS
(corrupted characters appeared or nothing all) I tried 3 HDDs, 2 CDROMs on
the primary IDE Channel and nothing even with different or new cables, tried
them on the secondary IDE channel, they all worked, nothing wrong with them
and checked them out as well, I even tried another power supply, so I can
only boot from the HDDs from the secondary IDE channel with no CDROMs, would
a BIOS update solved this? well why as it done this in the first place? or
should I sent the Motherboard back or buy a new one?
The HDDs are western digital
Mega-thanks to all replys to this post
