i have recently bought a mobile 2400+ for my A7V266-E, put it in and
low and behold it keeps the multi at 6 not allowing me to go any
higher without stability issues, this keeps me stuck at 800mhz instead
of 1800mhz. i have bios version 1015 beta 03 and still no support. I
am sure that some of u have the same problem out there, i am running
in jumperfree mode also. Please help me out

Help this guy,the moble chip is my only hope to get my PC running
faster :) same mobo, at the mommentive got a xp 2400 normal chip, with
a mobile chip i can do 2400 real meghertz ?

U basically could, the mobile runs at 1.8ghz stock speed at 1.45v
which is a lot lower than the non-mobile versions allowing for much
overclocking headroom, thus the reason for my purchase. I would love
for someone to respond to this with a solution but i couldnt wait any
longer and bought a refurb epox 8rda3+ for 50 bucks w/ shipping. Not
too shabby, im still waiting for it in transit. Asus really needs to
get on the ball with some bios upgrades.
