Can someone explain what does rev2 means please?
Is it a physical difference or to do with the bios?
Friend was considering buying one...the mags don't seem to mention the rev2
bit..does this mean that they will all be rev2 these days or are there two
distinct board models:-
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe and
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe rev2?
Thanks,
John

It means that it supports 200MHz FSB, a pre-rev 2 board does not.

Cheers,

Guy

Yes, either the motherboard was tweaked or a different stepping of the
nForce chipset was used (or maybe both), in order to achieve 200MHz FSB.

You'd be pretty unlucky to not get a Rev2.0 these days.
