Asus A7N8X Deluxe Rev2 - Sound Issue

Any ideas?

I've been using the front panel connections on the m/b for about 8
months. I decided to go back to using the rear connections. I removed
front panel connections from the m/b and then found out the rear
connections no longer work. When I reconnect to the front panel pins
on the m/b I get sound.

Anyone have any idea how I can get my rear connections to work again?

After removing the front connectors from
the MB header, are you reinstalling the
jumpers in between the 2 channels Line
and B_Line pins? They are needed to pipe
the signal to the rear jacks.HTH.

see FP_AUDIO in A7N8X manual.
Check that you have two jumpers on the FP_AUDIO header.

When you remove the front panel wiring, you are supposed to put two
jumper plugs back on the header. Only the manual for the A7N8X-E
shows the jumper plugs - see page 46 of:
