Asus A78nx-E Deluxe backplate

I bought a Scorpio, standard case, but the back plate that comes in the
motherboard box doesn't fit the case perfectly. Shouldn't it???
 
I had the same problem with a different brand.. took it back for a refund,
the case was defective. Purchased a better quality.
 
It's supposed to replace the case one(you clip it in), and no, it will not
always fit as some cases are wider where the thing goes.
