I viewed Vista on a 17" monitor and I thought it awesome.

Then on a 19" monitor it was even more stunning.

Today, on a 20" monitor at 1600 by 1200 resolution, I was absolutely
stunned.

It is incredible!

Wait until you see it on a 152" monitor! It will blow your socks off!!

I'd reckon that viewsonic would replace one faulty 153" device with ten 15"
devices from dodgily repaired stuff?

i hope Dell don't use the same approach.

For the unwary: look out for three year return to base warranties.

It appears some of these mean "We'll send you what you want however dodgy it
may be"

Do Dell replace faulty with new or do they replace faulty with faulty?

OMG.....Dell has not done me wrong in the best 8 yrs. Fastest in work/home
service. All parts replaced where new, not refurbished. Most of the time
next day, or the following day.

I'm using Windows Vista in a 1600 by 1200 display using a Nvidia GeForce FX
5500 PCI 256 meg graphics card that I bought for use with Windows Vista. I
bought the computer reburnished from an internet site for $350 years ago (HP
Pavilion xt993).
When I print to a network printer, an HP Photosmart 3210xi All-in-One using
Windows Mail, the display font changes to very large. Most of the time I
have to exit Windows Mail and restart to restore the original font. The
monitor is a Dell 19" (Sony monitor) flat screen crt that has an excellent
display after warming up for 15 minutes (also bought refurnished).

You can't possibly imagine how useful this is to me.

When I splash out on a 30" monitor Dell will be on the short-list.

For the unwary: look out for suppliers that replace dodgy with dodgy :(

This may sound heartless but it is not meant to be but there are many people
to whom a 70G splash out will not make a huge dent in their income.

Now, were i a marketing exec ... :)
