When I click on a " Mailto" link in a web page, it opens up my word processor.

I would like it to open my E-mail program.

There must be an "associate" command somewhere, but I am unable to find it.

Any help greatly appreciated.

What is your E-mail program and what is your word processor. If
Outlook and Word, do you have Outlook set to use Word to compose
messages?

I use Star Office and Thunderbird.
Works great, except of this annoyance.

See http://texturizer.net/thunderbird/faq.html#q2.1 for
how to make Thunderbird your default mail client. If
StarOffice still reasserts itself as the mailto handler,
then there must have a setting enabled in StarOffice to
make it the default mail client. Have a look through the
help files for that program or through the options
dialogues to find it.
