Hi,

Just started deploying software via GPO to a mix of Win2k and Win XP
machines except i've run into a problem where each time a pc reboots it
seems to install the software again. Any ideas why this would be happening?

Also just another quick question, if i want to apply a registry key to some
PC's on the network, how do i go about that? maybe a weblink if anyone has
one handy.

Thanks in advance
Andrew

Either the software really wasn't installed or Windows will still run
through the list of applications that need to be installed and check to see
if they had been installed. It is normal behaviour.

Hi,

For the software on reboot, check the event logs of the system. Maybe
it isn’t installing properly. For setting the registry key, use
these instructions. They are for setting permissions on a key but they
work. Remember they tatoo the registry so be careful
