Hi,
I just started at a company where the network admin did some crazy stuff.
They assigned Winzip and Adobe Reader through the AD which normally would
probably be fine.
However, it was assigned to the Users OU under the Users settings.
Now whenever someone opens a PDF or needs WINZIP, it looks for a shared
folder that isn't there anymore. So I need to resolve this?
How do I get rid of the application looking for the network, shouldn't the
application just be installed locally once you deploy it? Where is the
software usually deployed from? I deployed SP3 for Win2k without issue by
assigning it through the computers OU.
