Assign Tasks Multiple Owners

I'm attempting to assign the same Task to a number of owners within a
Group.
The problem is that it automatically creates a new "owner" being all
the names in the group rather than put the same Task under the
individual "owner" name.
Is there any way that when you assign a Task to a number of names as
owner, it will automatically put the same Task in the individual list
for each owner?

Thanks.

I am not sure exactly what view you are looking at but will assume Simple
List or grouped by Owner. When you group by Owner, Outlook makes it look
like there's an owner which is all 5 people who were assigned the Task. To
see it differently, you would need to make a New View (Define a View) that
shows Tasks with a specific Owner. Do that for each person you are
assigning to and you'll see what you want.

Hi - all replies and questions here please!

Define View is fairly straight forward:

Click the relevant folder, then Define View (how you get there depends on
your version)Define Views... | New | name the view and leave it set to Table
for type of view.

Now Filter | Advanced | Fields | All Tasks Fields | Owner. The set the
Condition (eg Contains) and the Value (eg Judy Gleeson). You're done!

The new view will now appear in the Current View window ( this window shows
in Advanced Toolbar which I suggest you turn on).

Hi,

I have tested this and I think it does the job required. Thanks!

I am waiting to show the MD of the company to see if this is what he
wants and will get back to you once that has occurred. I appreciate
your help.

Thanks & Regards,
Rita
