Hi,
I am trying to assign adobe acrobat reader to my users - I have created an
MSI package and shared it out. I have created a new GPO and published the
software ticking the box for auto-install by file extension activation.
But it doesn't work!! :-(
I keep running secedit on the users PC to try and update the group policy
but no events get written to the event log (each morning SceCli event
usually gets written to the log saying successful application of group
policy)
Is there another way of forcing the group policy to update?
Am I right in thinking by publishing it this way if the user receives a .pdf
file and clicks to open it, it will automatically load acrobat reader?
Thanks
Al
