Hi,

Would it be possible to assign a shortcut key to a VBA procedure like
can be done in Word and Excel?

I use Outlook 2003 (MultiLangual version).

Follow the instructions at http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/toolbar.htm#macro to add a macro to the toolbar, then give it an Alt+ accelerator key by putting an ampersand & in front of the accelerator character.

Hi Sue,

Thanks for your quick reply. It works (of course).

But still: can the trick be done like in
- Word (in dialog Tools-Customize-Keyboard; Category Macros and then assign
a shortcut key to a macro)
- Excel (in dialog Tools-Macro-Macros; select a macro and then [Options]
or even in Access
- create macro container AutoKeys and assign procedure to e.g. macro name ^a

Perhaps Outlook has no option to do so but I want to be sure.

If there were such an option in Outlook, I would have pointed out how to use it.
