assign harddisk letter

I brought and installed my hard disk and now i cant find it, i went to device
management and it says everything is fine and it is installed but i can see
it in My Computer.
Someone told me to assign it a drive letter. I don’t know how to assign it a
letter
could you help plz
 
You need to partition and format it first, then XP will assign it a letter.
If that letter is not to your liking, you can change it (in diskmanagement)
by RightClicking on it and "Change letter disk letter and path"

My Computer | Manage | Disk Management

Partition, Format, and assign a drive letter, in that order.
