assign category to contact

Drawing a complete blank here
When entering a new contact, I can't remember how to assign them to an existing category in my Outlook '03 contact list when entering the new data
Thanks for any advice..
 
Did you try clicking the Categories button at the bottom right of the
contact form?

I have a new version of Outlook and when putting in a new contact I cannot for the life of me find the category button.
I really use categories and I sure hope that it hasn't been deleted from the options

Any suggestions out there?

Look in the bottom-right-hand corner. It depends on the version, though, of
course. Last few have put it there, I think.
