Assign Calendar colors Office 2007

I understand that you can assign the 'default' calendar color & that office
assigns colors to addtional calendars that you open, according to the order
that you open them in.

Often I open them in different orders (I regularly access 10 or so) 3 are
for ppl & the rest are resources.

Sure would be helpful if I could designate a color for each person & then 1
colour for all resources.

Any thoughts on how I could do this?
