assign button image to hyperlink?

I would like to build a PowerPoint 2002 presentation that starts
with a single slide with multiple hyperlinks each of which will
link to a another page of hyperlinks which will contain links to
some fifteen to twenty mini-presentations. The question I have
is there some way to assign a button graphic of some sort to each
of these hyperlinks in order to give them some eye appeal?
 
Hi there

You can assign hyperlinks to images and autoshapes as well as text (and it
avoids the nasty underlining problem). You could create your own or download
some from your favourite graphic vendor.
