Is anyone running MailWasherPro on Windows Vista and what are the problems
you have encountered if any?

V5.3 is working fine for me with Windows Mail. The only problem I've
encountered is that using Help triggers an "access violation" error.

What is V5.3? I stopped using Vista Mail, and went back to Outlook, but
I would rather us Vista Mail, too many problems, are they working on these
problems, like the deleted mail folder problem?

I've seen nothing that suggests M$ has any interest in WM whatsoever.

Check the context. That's version 5.3 of MailWasherPro.

Like Julian says, Microsoft seems to have abandoned Windows Mail.
From all indications, only Windows Live Mail will benefit from further
development.

I am thinking about switching from Yahoo email to Windows Mail, but the
previous comment about MS abandoning Windows Mail in favor of Windows Live
Mail disturbs me. Is MS going to continue one or the other, and if so which
one?

Since MS has been strangely silent on this matter, it is difficult
to say for sure. It appears they are going full steam ahead with
Windows Live Mail development. What will happen to Windows
Mail is anybody's guess, although one MS project manager was
quoted as saying that Windows Live Mail will be a replacement
for Windows Mail. Note that not even one patch has been released
for the many bugs in Windows Mail.
