Hi there,

My WMM is not very stable. When creating a video, I
therefore first create smaller separate parts of the final
movie. Something like every 3 minutes, I save my movie to
my computer in DV-AVI format (my source is a DV digital
camera). At the end I create a new project and concatenate
all parts to sent it back to my camera.

I am wondering if there is any loss of quality when doing
so.

I came to this question because of the following : when
taking a snapshot of the original captured video, I create
images of 768 x 576 pixels. However, when taking snapshots
in the project of my concatenation of movie parts, the
size of the images is much smaller....

Anyone has an idea on this one ?

Thanks Daan

Taking snapshot in a project editing mode gives you pictures of 320x240
pixels. Taking them of a clip in a collection aligns the size of eh snapshot
with the size of the source file.
