ASRock k7s8x issue - flashing BIOS as solution?

Hi,
I've some problems with motherboard ASRock k7s8x...
Some days ago, I turned on my comp, and I saw black screen, with no PC
Speaker's buzz (POST), all fans were running, but I cannot turn off PC (I
had to cut off a power supply).

I've made some tests: I unplugged everything except proc, memory and
graphic card (all were tested in other computer and for 100% are
operational.

I check also this with the other PSU 350W (which is also operational - I
used to using it in other computer), but with the same results...

I tried to reset CMOS (with jumper and with removing battery for a couple
of minutes), but still without effects.

For sure the issue is with motherboard. I've one last idea - is this kind
of behavior may be related to BIOS error? Is it worth trying to flash BIOS
and then test again?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

Since your board is "dead" I'm not sure how you'd even be able to flash the
bios

Yes, you are right, that I cannot flash bios by myself, but there are many
services (equiped with bios-programmators) which offer flashing bios.
Or I can just buy new bios chip (i.e. type "bios flash" in ebay).
But I'm still not sure if there's any chance that this would fix the issue?
Please advice.

A new BIOS is very unlikely to help. The fact you can't even turn it off
indicates a motherboard problem more severe than just the BIOS.

Well if the bios is bad...a replacement would be in order...
however there is no way to really know unless you try.

Of course if the motherboard itself is bad...you'll have wasted money.

Since an entirely new motherboard may not be that much more than just the
bios chip...
a safe thing to do would be to just plain get an all new (or used)
motherboard.
