ASP.NET Controls Don't Render

I have recently installed VS.NET on a Windows Professional Edition and of course installed IIS but the problem is that when I just make a simple web form it does not render at all I mean when I add any server controls like <asp:Button .... et
or a textbox or any server control the tags are just sent to the browser as is no server processing , and when I view the source of the page rendered in my browser I found all the server tags I added .. I don't know why I re-installed VS.NET and I checked IIS it's running properly .. is this because of Windows Professional .. indeed I need an answer please any help will be great for me .. thanks ..
