If I save a form to an .asp file where does that file go to and how can I view that file?
Sorry but I'm new to FP and I'm not very good at forms.

Hi Fred,

It does not go anywhere unless the ASP coded page stores it to a database or file.

Which component of FP are you using?

a url of the form and an explanation of what you're, factually/specifically, trying to do would help get a good answer.

without, MD's answer is the best anyone could give you.

I've created a wish-list for surfers to convey what they want out of a holiday along with all the usual details like name, email, etc. I need all the info to be stored in a database so that it can be used later.
So Far I've set up the form, clicked on form properties, clicked 'send to database'. I then clicked on Options and filled the connection details, i.e. Database connection to use and clicked on the next three buttons. I then clicked results on the Table to hold form results.I then published the page and filled in the form. I however can find where the data has gone. Please point me in the right direction.

As long you have published the site to a Windows server that has the FP
extensions, then it would be stored in the fpdb folder within the web.

what Thomas said, but:
if you're only looking to use the info in the database "down the road", you may want to let FrontPage save the info to a .CSV (coma separated value), or an excel chart in other words. then you could import this data into an access database or other when you need to.
