ASP and ASPX Websites

Hi

There is Shopping Cart site which has source for download, it claims to have
version in ASP and ASPX, i downloaded the ASPX version and find that it is
ASP (classic) with extension ASPX for most files, is that cheating or is
this valid.

They perhaps tried to have a common code base for both ASP and ASP.NET
locating differences into specific files. Do you actually see something that
is not valid in ASP.NET ?
