Because there seems to be no Asksam (InfoRecall ?) replacement in the World
of Freeware,
I wondered if the following is possible.
Because I'm not a database programmer I asked myself and you if it is
possible to make a application with an existing database building freeware
like:
MySql
Sqlite
I read that these ones and others were free to use.
The databases which come with a pcmagazine like lotus approach seem to be
easy to use but....
They can not put html pages and links and picture in one single field.
They seem also to be limited to for instance 64000 letters or something like
that.
I don't know how many pages this is, but I can imagine that when I want to
use it as an document database, it would be just too less.
Actually the database I would want is very simple.
- only one universal field with unlimited length, so I can throw everything
in it.
- boolean search possibility
- simpel record maker
- it should be easy too use
I hope you can help me a little bit with my simple freeware database
(Sifreeda) question.
