Ascending Names to fill up a single page

How do I create a Report to show a list of names, a
single Field, to Ascend to the next column on the same
page then Ascend to the first column on the next page.

I am using Access 2000 and want to be able to print a
Report of names without wasting paper. Instead of a
single column of Ascending names that goes on to the next
page, which is wasteful, I want to be able to fill up
that single page with Ascending names, and then continue
on to the next page.

We have a Database of 2000 Names and Addresses, and want
to be able to print out only list of Names without
wasting paper. This report would have to be printed out
once a week. So, getting that list of names to fill up
one page at a time instead of a single column would save
a lot of paper, ink, and money.

Please email response to (e-mail address removed)
Many thanks

Hi.
While you have the report open in the design mode open the
<file> <Page Setup> from the top menu bar.
Select the Columns Tab and set to the desired number of
columns. You may want to play with some of the
arrangements available to obtain the desired effect.
Hope this helps.

With the report open in design view, use the File - Page
Setup - Columns menu item to specify how many columns you
want. While you're in there, you will probably also want to
uncheck the Same as Detail check box and specify the column
width manually.

Many Thanks, it worked out great.
