I currently have a Sony Handycam Vision (1997) and unfortunately, my zoom button has broken so I am forced to look at other options for camcorders. I know nothing about digital which is why I avoided it when I bought my last camcorder but for quality purposes it would probably be best if I got one this time around. What would be my best option (it doesn't have to be the newest) that will not cost me an extreme amount of money? Ideally, I think I would be looking at buying the camcorder used.
