I run the Beta 1, it finds spyware, it removes it, and
then, says to reboot to finish the process. However,
after agreeing to reboot, a message states AS Beta 1 is
unable to identify an XP Restore Point, do I want to go
ahead anyway. I do, and, sure enough, the very spyware
iSearch Toolbar and Ceres) that Beta CLAIMED it removed
is back on the reboot start up. Is the failure to find
or identify an XP Restore Point correctable? Is the
failure to find the restore point the reason why the
spyware will not go away? What good is the AS Beta if it
just perpetuates the cycle?

Well, MSAS can´ t handle this so try Adware.

But first send a suspected spywarereport to MS about this,
menu tools

Download Adware:

For CERES:
Ceres is a new "pest".
If possible submit a spywarereport to MS, menu tools.
No single malware removal program will remove everything.
Download and run CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot (in that
order.)

If unsuccessful with those programs, you may have to post
a HijackThis log to one of the forums listed below. You
will receive good help at any of these forums. You might
look for a forum that doesn't have
too many unanswered posts. You should also look for the
proper forum for HijackThis logs and a message along the
lines of "Important- Read This First."
