How do I get rid of the arrows, when clicking the START
button? I need to click the arrows to see the rest of the
programs/files instead of seeing them right away. Any
help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Get TweakUI 1.33 from Microsoft
(http://www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/downloads/PowerToys/Networking/N
TTweakUI.asp). It has an option to allow you to select the menu delay
when you hover the mouse over a menu item that has a submenu (i.e., the
"arrow"). You can't stop the submenu from popping up but you can
increase the delay for it so that you have time to select a different
submenu to appear.

Gotta ask, Which arrows?

THe right arrows, you can't really get rid of.

The Single Up and down scroll arrows, can be gotten rid of by:
Start->Settings->Taskbar and Start menu->advanced and uncheck "scroll
programs menu" (if the program menu is too big for the screen, it'll go in
columns)

The double down arrrows that show unused menu items can be gotten rid of
by:
Start->Settings->Taskbar and Start menu->General and uncheck "use
personalized menus"
