The Arrows in a Microsoft Help menu that you select that will expand out text.... I want to use that idea in a Company News letter based on Microsoft Word.... how do I have that arrow pointing to a topic, that if an employee is interested can select and it will expand out the topic (within the same document - not hyperlinked to another document), but if they choose to skip it they would be able to still see the main topics all on the same page.... sort of a hidden text, expanded out?

Using Hidden text would be pretty much the only way. Unless you'd use "Comments" (hover the mouse pointer over a comment and you should see the text).

Right off-hand, I'd say a macrobutton for the arrow that would change the formatting of the target range (or its style).

Another possibility would be to display the text in a UserForm (popup).
