Hell
I have a monthly schedule set up in Exce
Names in column A(21 names, several subgroups within group. Group A defined in BA2-BA10
tasks in columns b-ae(days of the month, b= 1st day) each person with a task per day Task X defined BB2 - BB
Is there a formula within Array that will work for the example from Excel Hel
=SUM(IF(B5:B25="Northwind",IF(C5:C25="Western",1,0))) where GPA defined by BA2-BA10 can be substituted for "Northwind" and Task X defined by BB2-BB6 substituted for "Western

if I understood you correctly that you want to count all entries for
Group A and all Tasks X try the following array formula
=SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A100=TRANSPOSE(BA2:BA10)),--(B1:B100=TRANSPOSE(BB2:BB
6)))
