Arranging Icons

~*Eternity*~

I know there is a way to allow me to set my icons on my desktop however I
want them...like going across the top of the screen or just in a jumble all
over...does anyone know how this is done?

When I do that, they "snap" back to where they were...
That's why I asked if there was a way to fix that.

Eternity:

Right click on the desktop, highlight "arrange icons by"
and make sure "snap to grid" is unchecked.

If you want the icons in a particular order you must turn
off "Auto Arrange" and "Align to Grid". Right click on a
blank space on your desktop and choose "Arrange Icons
By", and uncheck those two choices.
