I am working on Windows 2000 Professional. What I would like to ask is can't
all the files & folders existing in more than one folder be arranged at the
same time? For e.g. if I want to arrange all the files & folders in a
directory named 'Country' by "Type", I have to right click in any empty
space after opening this folder, then click "Arrange Icons" & finally click
"Sort By Type". But this won't arrange the files & folders by "Type" in any
other folders or in a folder named 'State' which exists in the 'Country'
folder. To arrange all the files & folders in the "State" folder, I will
have to repeat the same procedure as what I did to arrange the files &
folders in the folder 'Country'. This makes it very cumbersome & lethargic
to arrange the files & folders existing in all the folders. So is there
anyway by which files & folders in all the folders can be arranged by just
arranging the files & folders in any one directory?
Thanks,
