Arranging Icon by Date in Ascending order

I am having trouble figuring out how to arrange the files
in a folder in ascending order, meaning the most recently
downloaded files first and the oldest files last.
When you choose to arrange them by date created, they are
arranged in descending order.

Also, if anyone knows, if I have a mp3 playing, I can
still hear windows sounds, other sources of audio (like a
IE browser window). In Win98, when you had Windows Media
playing, all other sounds would be muted. Is there any
way I can customize the audio setting to do this?
