Arrange by date

In Windows 2000 Pro, when you arrange files by date, the
latest date is at the bottom of the list. In previous
versions, the latest was at the top. Is there a way to
set this up
 
I presume that you are viewing the files via explorer (vs the 'dir'
command). Just click on the 'date' column header to reverse the sort order.
