hey thanks gregg...i actually did that days ago plus some extended search on
msn downloads- different formats...what I came up with in both searches was a
program called transmac which according to all reviews was supposed to be
able to translate those drivers to a format recognizable by win xp...in
reality it did exactly that. However, a few other things it did-even after I
uninstalled the program:
1) actual format was nowhere near recognizable by xp. It was, however,
recognized by isee pro which then proceeded to snatch several of my ini files
and burnt them out giving me a few system files with revoked certificates.
This continued until I went into explorer and manually isolated all files
affected by the program between two different programs, created a pocket in
the system and jerked the offending folder out of my tree(thanks support!)
2) before the above could be effective, there was a port in the program
(unidentified by the setup overview) which, either I neglected to change or
it configured itself into the loop, and proceeded to attempt to overwrite the
files on the upper part of my system (cache?) unsure of the terminology
here....into a format used by macintosh systems. (system restore is SUCH a
remarkable concept). What I then decided to do is throw the isee pro webcam
as far as i could possibly throw it, quit wasting my time trying to find a
free driver for a product not having one, which wasnt even for use by my O/S,
travel the couple blocks to walmart and PURCHASE (for 20 dollars) an argus
dual mode digicam which IS made for my system. Sorry for the extensive post,
but I hope this helps another semi knowledgeable pc operator, thinking to
thwart the system, leading him/her to shell out a couple bucks for the right
product rather than burning out the entire system. Thanks for understanding.
Dani
PS..even to this day i have floating around in my files, a folder named
transmac with properties of 0 kb, (readonly, just for the pure shell of it)
that will not even stay renamed....

Hi Dani,
I did some checking and managed to find some drivers for this cam for the
Mac from IOXperts but it looks like they only make Macintosh drivers.
One other option is
http://www.driverguide.com/. You have to join (which I
think is free), but then you can search their database for a Windows driver.
Let us know how that goes.
Thanks,
