But its a bit pricey @ over £3860!!!!

The other one that took my fancy was the Monkeyware Uber Monkey:

But I dont know how good the 8800 GTXs are?

Please help..... I can kinda build PCs but I dont really want the hassle of breaking a £3K PC.

This would form the basis of one of the best systems available at the moment:

EVGA Nvidia 680I SLI Socket 775 DDR2 GB Lan SATA II Raid 7.1Channel Audio Firewire Motherboard - £210.00
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2 x 2.4Ghz 4Mb Cache 1066 FSB Dual Core Processor - £234.00
Zalman CNPS7700-CU Ultra-Quiet CPU Cooler (775,754, 939, 940) - £27.00
2 x BFG GeForce 8800GTS 640MB HDCP Enabled Dual DVI PCI Express (500MHz Core Clock) (1600MHz Memory Clock) (1200MHz Shader Clock) in SLI mode - £728.00
2 x Western Digital Raptor 150Gb 16Mb Cache Hard Disk Drive Serial ATA <4.5ms 10,000rpm - OEM in RAID 0 - £316.00
Pioneer DVD Burner - £28.00
Corsair XMS6400 2GB DDR2 (2x1GB) 800Mhz Non-ECC - £194.00
Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case - £72.00
ENERMAX Liberty 620 Watt Modular Power Supply - £108.00
Windows XP Pro - £95.00

Total: £2012.00

And this system would wipe the floor with any of the two setups mentioned in the first post.

If you fancy one of these quad processors:
Intel Quad Core QX6700 Extreme 4 x 2.66Ghz 8Mb Cache 1066 FSB Quad Core Processor

Then add £470.00. Total price would be £2482.00

Case listed above just a suggestion.

For a floppy drive add a tenner.

For a floppy drive/media card reader, add about £18.00

If you built that system with the twin 8800's and the Intel quad processor, don't forget to buy a chain to hold it down :D

That system with the Quad would be awesome Flops - now where's my spare 2.5 grand :D
